To celebrate the grand opening of its Tonglin store, Chung Mei Watch has teamed up with Cartier to host the “Cartier New Watch Showcase” from July 24 to August 11. The event features multiple new creations from Cartier’s 2025 collection and marks the first time the brand presents its latest timepieces in a newly designed concept boutique in Taiwan.
Originating from the UK and known for its rain boots, Rockfish rose to fame thanks to celebrity fans like BLACKPINK’s Jennie and IVE’s Jang Wonyoung. This summer, the brand officially enters the Taiwanese market through FRUITION, with its first flagship store in Taipei’s East District opening on July 19. Styled like a European gift shop, the store features footwear, apparel, and accessories, and debuts a collaborative collection with Korean designer brand MINJUKIM. The collection blends fairytale aesthetics with outdoor casual vibes, highlighting romantic pieces like ruffled lace-up sneakers and Mary Janes.
Trendsetting eyewear brand CHIMI, founded in Stockholm, Sweden, has surged in popularity across Europe and the U.S. thanks to celebrity fans like Kendall Jenner and BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Now exclusively distributed in Taiwan by local eyewear brand KlassiC., CHIMI products are available online and at KlassiC’s Zhongshan concept store, Dunnan flagship, and Songyan location in Taipei.

Han Lai Shanghai Soup Dumpling will open its first Taipei location at Xinyi’s DREAM PLAZA on August 5, becoming the brand’s eighth store in Taiwan. Established in 1995, the brand is renowned for its signature 18-pleat xiaolongbao. The new 90-ping restaurant offers 92 seats and highlights value-for-money dining in a cozy setting. Future locations are planned for Nangang LaLaport, Taipei Dome SOGO, and Taichung Intercontinental. By 2026, the brand aims to reach 10 stores across Taiwan.

Vivobarefoot, a British brand, has opened a limited-time pop-up store on the 5th floor of Taipei Xinyi A11, featuring a “barefoot shoes × urban functional wear” experience. The collaboration combines Natuos’ versatile commuter casual wear with super.natural’s merino wool apparel, suitable for everything from workouts to outdoor activities, promoting a healthy barefoot lifestyle and eco-friendly functional fashion.
A.P.C., a French minimalist fashion brand known for its sleek lines and practical style, opened its second flagship store in Taiwan at Dream Plaza in Taipei’s Xinyi District in summer 2024. Designed by French architectural firm Laurent Deroo Architecte, the store adopts the “equidistant isomorphism” concept, combining geometric compositions with Okoume wood grain, aluminum honeycomb shelving, and high-transparency mirrored glass to create a space that balances rational order with warm textures.
Japanese sushi chain “Shouchisuke by Honten Sushi” has opened its first store in Taiwan at Nangang Lalaport. The restaurant features an automated high-speed conveyor system delivering dishes directly to semi-private booths, offering freshly made sushi by skilled chefs as well as tempura, soba, and a total of 127 Japanese dishes. The brand continues its tradition of carefully selected Japanese ingredients, sourcing premium seafood from both Taiwan and Japan to ensure freshness and flavor, providing a high-end sushi dining experience.
Katsudon-ya KatsuQ is the upgraded store format of the Japanese pork cutlet rice bowl brand “KatsuQ,” making its Taiwan debut on July 25, 2024, at Dream Plaza in Taipei’s Xinyi District. Specializing in thick-cut pork cutlet “3D theater” rice bowls, it offers four premium katsudon options and three surf-and-turf set meals. The interior features wooden lattice panels and plaster walls, with counter seating and an open kitchen to create a sushi-bar-like atmosphere full of freshness and sizzling flavor.
Butterbear is the mascot of Thailand’s popular café and dessert shop “Butter Bear Cafe.” It has served as a tourism ambassador for Thailand and collaborated with ZARA on a co-branded collection. The second wave of the collaboration has launched, featuring a playful preppy theme with geometric stripes and check patterns. PORTER INTERNATIONAL, a Taiwanese brand known for its minimalist and functional design, has launched a summer collection tailored to hot weather and active lifestyles. The lineup highlights three key features—sun protection, comfort, and lightness—and includes UV-protection hats, sunglasses, breathable socks, T-shirts, and mesh tote bags.The collection’s highlight is a 25th-anniversary limited-edition collaboration with Taiwanese eyewear brand CLASSICO: acetate sunglasses crafted from 6mm thick-cut plates with rounded edges.
